From humble beginnings in 1984 as an audio company specializing in live events, Audio & Light, Inc., has become a modern, technology driven company providing cutting edge solutions for audio, video, lighting and control systems with a diverse customer base.  Our major customers include: hospitals, universities, houses of worship, corporations, theatres, event centers and live performance venues. We serve much of North Carolina including Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Asheville, High Point, Burlington, Southern Pines, Charlotte, and Salisbury.


AUDIO & LIGHT OPERATES IN THREE DIVISIONS:

A/V INTEGRATION


Our A/V Integration division designs and installs complex audio, video, lighting and control systems in universities, theatre’s, corporations, civic institutions, hospitals and houses of worship. System Integration has experienced remarkable growth under the leadership of owner, Jim Hoyle and design engineer, Brian Cox.  The foundation of the Systems Integration team is based upon continuing education of personnel and service after the sale.

 

We are authorized dealers for, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Sennheiser, Crown, Renkus-Heinz, Lab-Grupen, Panasonic and most major brands of audio-visual equipment manufacturers.

PRODUCTION DIVISION

 

Today, our concert and live event productions team, unlike other production companies, has permanent lighting, audio, and video personnel in-house to plan and execute your important events from stadium size venues to more intimate settings.

 

Our production team, led by Technical Director Charlie Starr, is well known for their attention to detail and the willingness to embrace and master new technology. Everyone from Presidents to Grammy Award winners have allowed us to make them sound and look great. Our production team relies on equipment from Yamaha, Avid, Midas, Meyer, DAS, Martin, Avolites, Chauvet, Digital Projection and ETC to name a few.

A/V RENTAL DEPARTMENT


Our Equipment Rental Division shares the same high expectations of quality.  In the event you decide to handle your own production or need to make a presentation, our Rental Department can supply the gear.


Our inventory includes LCD projectors by Hitatchi, Sanyo, NEC and Digital Projection: screens by Draper and AV Stumpfl; audio systems by Yamaha, QSC, DAS and JBL; wireless mics By Shure and Sennheiser and Lighting by Chauvet gives you everything you need to make your event a great success. In addition to rental AV gear, we also have Backline equipment available.
